Yoga Teacher Training

OHMGrown Yoga's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program begins September 2022.

OHMGrown Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. In our foundational 200-hour teacher training we will deep dive into the teachings of yoga to provide a comprehensive experience that gives you the tools you need to safely and confidently create and teach Vinyasa-style yoga classes. Through an exploration of yogic philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, and other essential skills, you will find your authentic voice and self in the seat of the teacher.

Our teacher training isn’t just about the mechanics of teaching yoga, it’s a journey inward. Through the training process you’ll begin to step into your own inner authority, hone your presentation skills, and develop new insights about your own inner state of being. Whether you intend to teach publicly or not, yoga teacher training provides a strong foundation in the teachings and application of yoga.

We highly recommend a minimum of six months of consistent practice before signing up.

Equity Pricing & Scholarships

The intention behind creating our equity pricing structure and scholarship program is to offer more accessibility to the training for those who hold marginalized identities and those experiencing significant financial hardship. If neither of those qualifications apply to you, we ask you to please consider other payment options including our payment plans or supporting others in our community who have decreased access to financial resources by choosing the full tuition option, if this is available to you.

Payment Plans
Full Tuition: $3,000/5 months = $600 per month for the length of the training
Community: $2,400/5 months = $480 per month for the length of the training
Work Exchange: $1,600/5 months = $320 per month for the length of the training

We utilize Green Bottle Sliding Scale Pricing to allow for our training program to be obtained at multiple price points based on the circumstances of the purchaser. “My experience with OHMGrown Yoga's YTT program was one that I will never forget. I was nervous, unsure if I was ready, unsure if I was worthy, and truly unsure if I would ever want to teach. From the very first meeting, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. Alyssa was organized, thoughtful, mindful and firm. We learned the perfect balance of anatomy, alignment, philosophy and mindfulness. We practiced different forms of meditation and dug deep in to what came up for us. We laughed, we cried, we grew closer than we could have ever imagined... to ourselves and to each other. I never knew what yoga was before this program. I would do it 100 times over if I could.”
